For more than two decades, Scot “Little” Bihlman has been blazing a trail across the American Rock highway, establishing himself as a versatile musician, singer, and songwriter – a tour veteran who has played alongside many of the great legends of Rock and Blues.  Born just outside of Chicago and raised in Northern Michigan, Scot, on drums/guitar/vocals, and his brother, Jeff “Jabo” Bihlman, on guitar/vocals, got their start opening for national acts. Together, The Bihlman Bros. (www.bihlmanbros.com), graduates of the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles, carved their niche in the modern blues/rock genre and have become a dual force widely regarded not only for exceptional skill and artistry but also songwriting.

Produced by Grammy award-winning producer Jim Gaines, they quickly established a sought-after reputation as both players and bandleaders. In between tours showcasing Bihlman Bros. music, the brothers have crisscrossed the US and Europe backing, recording, and/or appearing with a multitude of national acts, including Trey Anastasio (phish), dUg Pinnick (King’s X), Ted Nugent, BB king, Pink, Ray Charles, Jonny Lang, Hank Williams Jr., ZZ Top, and Buddy Guy, among others.  Son Seals featured the Bihlmans with phish guitarist, Trey Anastasio, on his album “Lettin’ Go,” which earned the 2001 WC Handy Award.

Scot has performed for audiences at some of the world’s notable venues, including The Tweeter Center, Van Andel Arena, Interlochen Center for the Arts, CCB – Lisbon, The Blues Hall – Athens, and The White House. Scot became a staple at Cherokee studios in Los Angeles working alongside legendary producer, Bruce Robb, playing sessions for major Motion pictures and legendary artists. In 2010 The brothers signed with Warner/Chappell Music in Los Angeles and have garnered four Emmy Awards for their original music. Credits include All My Children, The Good Guys, Sons of Anarchy, The Gifted, Love and Dancing, and The Road to 751 Fairfax. His music has appeared on FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC, CMT, and more on shows like “The Good Guys”, “All my Children”, “Burn Notice” and “Sons of Anarchy” on TNT.

In 2014, Scot teamed up with King’s X frontman, dUg Pinnick, and brother Jeff to form Grinder Blues (www.grinderblues.com),  a hard rock blues trio whose first album, co-produced by Miles Fulwider and Grinder Blues (under the Sony/Megaforce label) debuted at #8 on the Billboard Blues chart.  Off the heels of a European tour that wrapped up in late 2017, the trio started work on their sophomore album, set to release in 2019.

Focusing back on his roots in “Americana” rock, Scot’s second solo album, also set to release in 2022, promises to deliver Scot’s signature “homegrown” vibe his fans know so well.
